Abstract

Ellis van Creveld syndrome has been associated with cardiovascular malformation i.e. atrioventricular septal
defect with common atrium. A four and a half years old boy was re-operated for partial atrioventricular septal
defect with common atrium with pericardial patch dehiscence on the 11th March 2016. The new innovative
technique i.e. interrupted suture technique, with bovine pericardium was applied for repair of mitral valve
leaflet. He is doing well following surgery.
