Abstract

Cardiovascular disease remains the leading global health concern,1 with remote populations often facing barriers to timely and specialized cardiac care.2 Every 36 seconds, a life is lost to cardiovascular disease (CVD)—yet for more than 6 billion people, accessing specialized cardiac care remains a distant hope. Telecardiology, a transformative technology, integrates telemedicine with wearable sensors and Al analytics to remotely diagnose and manage heart conditions.3 This approach aims to enhance medical excellence and operational readiness within cardiovascular healthcare systems.
